Proper music from the 50’s to the 00’s, always on early press wax, plus favourite artists and record labels profiled with love. Reminisce with Daddy Long Legs and his weekly TOP BANANA SPECIAL GUEST MUSIC LOVER as they natter about their love of vinyl, digging stories, raving times and all things music related.
Daddy Long Legs and Her Indoors both grew up in Shepherds Bush and spent too much time in the old Record and Tape in the 90s. Daddy Long Legs could wow you for hours about his music loving credentials – from local house parties and sets in Soho in the 90s to weekly Tongue & Groove nights in Brixton in the 00s and warming up for the mighty Vin Gordon and the Real Rock Band. Also broadcasting live on local radio every week since 2008, it sounds like Legs has done it all. But the truth is, the best thing that ever happened to Daddy Long Legs was bringing Her Indoors into the studio with him to inject a bit of class, fun and nostalgia into matters. He never wants to present a radio show on his own again!
